All Cafes were Closed, but we finally found this...

Day 10: Uji & Kifune
Nice bridges, shrines and park...
Oh! This is the park is where I got my little red leaf - the
Little ducklings (the little black dots) along the river

Strolling along the river...

平等院- the shrine that is imprinted on 10 Yen Coin

Here's the wonderful friend who has been bringing me around ...

Passed by a glass house at dusk~

(*feels like the little match girl who could only stare at the warmth inside the lighted house as the chilling breeze froze my fingers ...)
Luckily I got a beanie to keep me warm.. *phew!

A little shrine right across the railway track,
and I wonder who will go there.
A visit to the little town where all the famous pottery artists in Shiga prefecture live ...
And we spotted a Hanshin Tiger Shigaraki-yaki!

Asking Santa for some pressies...

My Long time Buddies...

Chilling at the Coffee house ...

Senseless fun...
And more chilling with the Babes...

Let's Cheers to Seasons of Joy, Laughter and Everlasting Happiness!
Taking a morning stroll along the famous street..

Followed by the Morning market...
And some surprise find...
Like these weird-looking pumkins! A few more days to Halloween I supposed!

Now, the bus ride to Shirakwago...
Beautiful skies and colourful flora...
A glimse at the lovely mountains as the bus crosses the bridge...
The scenery are just so beautiful... I couldn't possibly sjare all o them.
Here's one's taken while going through a partially covered tunnel...
Oh! Are we finally reaching Shirakawago?
Oh yes! Reached!! Here's how the whole village looks like (not a very well-taken picture.)
Lovely flowers by the side..
The enormous task of constructing the thatched grass roof that allows them to withstand all weather.... (Don't be mistaken, I'm not so lucky to witness this. It is a picture of a poster that I took.)
That's all for now.
Some thoughts along the way back to Kobe:
"I'm finally travelling with somebody tomorrow onwards!! Something to look forward to..."
